Minimum Laptop Requirement
In order to access the internet and virtually-delivered software and courseware, student laptops should include the following at a minimum. By meeting the following specifications, students will be equipped to access software and courseware on their laptop through the internet:

  • Intel i3 Processor or equivalent
  • 2 GB of RAM or more
  • 100 GB HDD or more
  • HD Graphics
  • Wireless 802.11b/g/n
  • Windows Operating System (Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8) 

Options Beyond the Minimum
In order to access the internet, and operate software and courseware installed on the laptop, student laptops should be equipped with the following:

  • Intel i5 Processor or equivalent 
  • 4 GB of RAM or more
  • 200 GB HDD or more
  • HD Graphics
  • Wireless 802.11b/g/n
  • Windows Operating System (Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8) 

In order to access the internet, and realize optimum performance on the software and courseware installed on the laptop, student laptops should be equipped with the following:

  • Intel i7 Processor or equivalent 
  • 8 GM of RAM or more
  • 250 GB HDD or more
  • HD Graphics
  • Wireless 802.11 b/g/n
  • Windows Operating System (Windows 7, Windows 8)
