Apprentices who are interested in writing exemption tests are welcome to write at the Learning Bridge for a fee. Over 150 skilled trades level exemption tests are available.
Testing Guidelines
- Most tests are closed book and have a three-hour time limit
- Photo ID is required at the time the candidate writes the test
- Candidates must register prior to the test date by calling the Learning Bridge
- A PASS/FAIL letter will be sent to the candidate and the Ministry within 10 working days of the test date
- If the candidate fails (less than 70%) he/she can re-write six months after the original test date

| Testing fees range from $50.00 to $150.00 per apprentice per level. |
| Special rates are available for full-time Lambton College students and recent graduates. |
