If you’re an applicant who has been out of high school for at least a year and over the age of 19, you are a mature student.
At Lambton College, we understand that coming to school after being away from school for a while can be a difficult and sometimes frightening life change. That is why we make sure we offer a number of information sessions and tours before you even begin coming to school. It is important that you know about the many services and aides available to you as a mature student. Knowing how we can help when you ARE a Lambton College student will definitely make this transition an easier one.
Also note, as a mature student, you could be eligible for “Mature Student Testing.” If you think you won’t qualify for a program because of its admission requirements, give us a call because Mature Student Testing may be all you need to gain admission.
